Debunking the Myths: Understanding the True Essence of Feminism

Here emerges the most contentious issue of our time: feminism. Despite India's rich tapestry of religions, each venerating women and deifying female deities, societal practices often contradict these reverential stances. It is not that women are universally disrespected, but rather that instances of disrespect persist due to outdated mindsets or misconceptions.

One such misconception is the interpretation of feminism. Some individuals, often labeled as hypocrites, misconstrue feminism as a movement aimed at women dominating society and asserting superiority over men. This could not be further from the truth.

Feminism is not about women seeking to overpower men or to claim supremacy. Instead, it advocates for women's rights and a place of respect in society. It encourages women to be self-reliant and to refuse subjugation. It is important to note that not all women are oppressed, just as not all women are oppressors.

Feminism does not call for superior rights but rather for "equal rights." Every individual, regardless of gender, caste, race, or religion, deserves equal respect, responsibility, and rights—the three powerful Rs. Feminism echoes this sentiment, advocating for equal rights and opportunities for women in society. While there has been progress in providing opportunities for women, there are still areas where this is lacking.

The intent of this article is to clarify that feminism does not seek to undermine men's rights but to promote equality for both men and women. To dispel these misconceptions, we must all take a proactive role in educating society about feminism. We should encourage women to be confident, independent, and to forge their own identities, thereby earning equal respect in society.

"A Hidden Crisis : The Mental Health Struggle of Muslim Girls Without Sanitation Facilities"

As a content writer, I have always been passionate about highlighting important issues and bringing them to the forefront. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit a government Urdu high school in a rural area of Vijayapura. While I was there, I was shocked to find out that there were no washrooms for girls in the school. This not only raised concerns about hygiene but also shed light on the struggles that these girls face on a daily basis.

The school was located in a remote village where basic facilities were scarce. The lack of washrooms for girls was a major issue that was affecting their education and overall well-being. As I spoke to the girls, I learned that they had to control their bladder pressure for hours until they could go home. This not only caused discomfort but also affected their concentration in class. Many girls even skipped school during their menstrual cycle due to the unavailability of proper sanitation facilities.

The situation was even more alarming when I learned about the importance of hygiene in Islam. As a religion, Islam emphasizes cleanliness and hygiene as an essential part of one's faith. It is believed that cleanliness leads to purity of the soul and is a way of showing gratitude towards Allah. However, in this school, the lack of washrooms was not only affecting the girls' physical health but also their spiritual well-being.

Muslim girls are taught from a young age to keep themselves clean and maintain proper hygiene. However, in a school where there are no washrooms, it becomes nearly impossible for them to follow these teachings. This not only puts their health at risk but also goes against the principles of Islam. However, with no access to clean and hygienic toilets, these girls are unable to perform their religious rituals properly. This has not only affected their spiritual well-being but has also caused them to feel disconnected from their faith.

One of the most concerning aspects of this issue is the shame and stigma associated with speaking about sanitation. Many girls are afraid to speak up about the lack of proper facilities, fearing judgment and ridicule from their peers. This has created a culture of silence, where girls suffer in silence, and the issue remains unaddressed

The lack of washrooms for girls in this school is a clear violation of their basic rights. Every child has the right to access proper sanitation facilities, and it is the responsibility of the authorities to look after these facilities in schools. The absence of washrooms not only affects the girls' education but also puts their health at risk.

In conclusion, my visit to the government Urdu high school was an eye-opening experience. It made me realize the struggles that these girls face on a daily basis due to the unavailability of washrooms. It is crucial to address this issue and provide proper sanitation facilities to these girls. As a society, it is our responsibility to ensure that every child has access to basic facilities and can live a healthy and dignified life. Let us work towards creating a better and more inclusive environment for these girls, where they can focus on their education without any hindrance.

"Uncovering the Hidden Truth: My Eye-Opening Experience at a School with Poor Sanitation for Girls"

As a social activist I loved visiting new places and interrogating about the place. But my most recent visit to “kannada medium govt. school, Afzalpur, Takke (vijayapura district)" made me drown in concern. As I walked through the gates of the school, I couldn't help but feellla sense of unease. The atmosphere was tense and the students seemed restless. I soon found out the reason for this as I made my way to the girls' restroom. No, the reason was not the teaching method, neither any illegal activity took place nor the method of treatment towards the students was ill but to my horror, I discovered that the school had no proper sanitation facilities for its female students.

The condition of the restroom was appalling. The toilets were clogged, the sinks were broken, and there was no running water. The smell was unbearable and the walls were covered in graffiti. I couldn't believe that these young girls were forced to use such unsanitary and unsafe facilities on a daily basis.

As I spoke to some of the students, I learned that this was not an isolated incident. Many schools in the developing lack proper sanitation facilities, especially for girls. This not only affects their physical health but also has a significant impact on their education and overall well-being.

Sanitation is a basic human right and is crucial for the health and dignity of individuals, especially girls. Lack of access to clean and safe toilets can lead to various health issues such as urinary tract infections, diarrhea, and even reproductive health problems. This not only affects their physical health but also their mental health, as they may feel embarrassed and ashamed to use inadequate facilities.

Moreover, inadequate sanitation facilities also have a direct impact on girls' education. Many girls miss school during their menstrual cycle due to the lack of proper facilities. This not only affects their academic performance but also leads to a higher dropout rate. In some cases, girls may even drop out of school altogether due to the lack of privacy and safety in using inadequate facilities. Also becoming one of the kinds of sexual assault.

It is crucial to understand that sanitation is not just about having clean toilets. It also includes access to clean water, proper waste management, and hygiene education. These factors are essential for maintaining good health and preventing the spread of diseases.

As I left the school, I couldn't help but think about the urgent need for proper sanitation facilities for girls. It is a basic human right that should not be denied to anyone.

In conclusion, my recent visit to a school with no proper sanitation facilities for girls was a wake-up call. It highlighted the importance of sanitation in a girl's life and the dire consequences of neglecting it. It is time for us to take action and ensure that every girl has access to clean and safe sanitation facilities. Let us not forget that sanitation is not a privilege, but a basic human right.

FREEDOM FIGHTERS

 FREEDOM

FIGHTERS

Independence day is just ahead of the clock. And generally in all Indian minds the term freedom fighter would bring up the thought of mainly our bapuji, that is Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and his other companions like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru and many others. Definitely these people played a very important role in getting us the freedom from britishers.

But have you ever thought who basically is termed as a FREEDOM FIGHTER?

Or are we all just lagging behind the names of the famous personalities only?

I don't mean to deny to the fact that these people are freedom fighters but what I mean to say is that do we all know the meaning of the word, freedom fighter

I've risen this question and I'll surely give an answer to this

A freedom fighter is that person who is engaged in a resistance movement against what he feels is to be oppressive or an illegitimate governing body. Any person who knows the rights and has a voice is a freedom fighter!

There lies a freedom fighter in every corner of the world, stretching up from Nelson Mandela from South Africa who fought against apartheid to our great Indian revolutionaries who rose their voices against the suppression of britishers. Every single one of them is a freedom fighter. The reasons and methods might be different but the motive was always to stand for humanity.

The world is full of freedom fighters but the rarest gems are our Indian freedom fighters. I stated few famous names above about the whole India, not only whole India but the whole world knows about. but deep down in the great golden history of India  there are many other unsung warriors who have fought valiantly in order to preserve humanity and secularism in our motherland.

I bet to say that most of us don't know about the Indian freedom struggle except the knowledge dissolved in us through books only.

From Surya Sen to Jatindra Nath Das, from Durgawati Devi to Bir Tikandrajit Singh, from Prilata Waddedar to Pingali Venkayya... this is what I mean by the vastness of our freedom fighters. The vastness is not only because of their regions or works but the way they led their works and perspective reach people, slowly and steadily joining the bricks to build the pyramid free India.

If a fight was violent there was also a fight which was silent. If a fight included guns there also was a fight which only included pens. from abuse to melody, from art to architecture our Indian struggle was carried out in many unique ways by many brave hearts.

I repeat, the ways of fighting might be different but the motive was, is and will be the same. you might question me now that Shifa.. we understand with what you meant with WAS same but what do  mean with ' is and will be the same'? we aren't fighting for freedom now. No, you're wrong. We still are fighting for freedom, not against britishers but against the evils that are trying to question the pride and unity of our nation.

We still have those brave freedom fighters standing at the borders of our nation to protect the freedom we've gained years ago. Not only the people who fought before or till 1947 are called freedom fighters but also the soldiers who have ever sacrificed their lives in order to protect the nation, those soldiers who have dedicated their life towards our motherland are also freedom fighters. the freedom fighters who are trying to protect the freedom!

If there is an instance where you have to stand up for the pride of your nation then don't even think twice just directly do anything that you can possibly do. lets be an INDIAN in a true manner and let us keep the blood of our brave-hearts alive in this land.

REINCARNATION part II

  REINCARNATION

       'The mystery of re-birth'

PART-II

Didn't those questions from the previous part make you create more questions?

Though we created numerous questions upo existence itself but is anyone of us sure if it is true or false or it is just the mystical creation of the over thinking human mind....

Well, I myself don't have a proper answer upon this. The world is full of fantasies and I guess this might be a fantasy aswell. But other hand world also has logically reasoned answers for few of these fantasies.

Sometimes it is hard to find a conclusion between true and false assumptions. Well not always but only in the circumstances were proofs or justifications are given upon both the sides i.e truth and false.

And it is something very relatable in this case and that makes me lag in between, oops I mean that makes US lag in between the reality and the fantasy world. Where few religions say that this phenomenon is true while the rest few of them deny. We must have seen many movies on rebirth of a person but are we sure that they are true. Neither the science has proved this nor anybody.

.......let's keep the hunt of the reality on, without disagreeing on the assumptions or agreeing on them completely.

As said, this ended where it begun.

ITS ALL STILL A MYSTERY...........

REINCARNATION

                       REINCARNATION

          The mystery of ‘re-birth’

                                                                            PART - 1

Reincarnation nothing else but the re-birth. Re-birth is one of the mysteries puzzling in human minds since the origin of mankind

The concept of reincarnation has different beliefs in different religions some believe and some don’t believe in the concept of reincarnation. There are few questions which pop-up in our mind after hearing the word re-birth/reincarnation like:  Is rebirth a true phenomenon? ,Do we forget our past life or do we remember everything?,What may be the reason of our death?, Did we spend our past on the earth or on some other planet? ,If this is our first life ,the first birth then will we be born again after our death, for sure? And so on, there are several questions but there is no specific answer neither science nor the superstitiousness has proved it.

What do you think, what may be the truth. Have you seen this world earlier or you are going to see it again?, What is our real/first identity? Who are you? Who am I?

ITS ALL A MYSTERY........

LEADERSHIP

Leadership can never be taught ~

LEADERSHIP!

GREAT TERM…. But what is leadership?

And what does our topic that is “LEARDERSHIP CAN NEVER BE TAUGHT” refer to?

When in this world of logical thinking everything needs to be taught in a specific way. Why cannot leadership be taught?

Isn’t there anybody in this world who can teach a leader his leadership?

These questions are ofcourse the origin of this topic. Mainly, what is leadership . It is not only the quality of guiding somebody, but! it also includes the courage of handeling something in a huge mass and with providing proper guidance to a bunch of people with thoughtfulness, sensefulness , honesty, fair descision making quality and proper way of expressing their point of view which must satisfy everybody.

And… all these are internal characterstics of a person. One can teach a person how to behave, enact, work, do a specific thing, understand things or use something.

But nobody can teach a person to build his character, his own qualities. It’s all upon the individual who is shaping himself with qualities, emotions and habits.

Nobody can teach any person to have emotions likewise nobody can cultivate qualities of a person. And leadership is ofcourse an internal quality of a person.

While everybody in this world possess different and various qualities thus no single person in this world can possess exactly the same characterstics. And we know, leadership is also a quality of a person, and neither a person nor a divine being can inculcate the quality in a person.

I agree that leadership is not a whole single quality but it is composed of several qualities like I stated above i.e. behaviour, undiversifying quality, manners, unity, courage, willpower and self descision making capacity. And it might be possible to teach any one of these qualities to a person but teaching all of these qualities is purely impossible. And these are the basic characterstics that a leader must possess for carrying an attitude of perfect leadership.

If a person wants to possess leadership then he/she must possess all these qualities of equality, honesty etc………….

Leadership can never ever be taught by anybody, it is a combined quality that a person is born with.

From other aspects few people won’t accept this fact but this is the ultimate truth. But yes, there is one teacher in this world who can help us in building leadership and he is none other but ‘time’….. also ‘circumstances’

Though great leaders are born with the qualities of leadership but time and circumstances build them as well. It is the person himself who should understand the situations and build himself accordingly into a proper and responsible leader with fair LEADERSHIPNESS!

YOUTH

Y O U T H

Well we all know that YOUTH is the future of a nation. But WHO IS YOUTH?!

Come on lets define youth……

Youth is the building block of the society, youth is the one who holds the power to organize the future. Without youth there won’t be any succeeding future of the country. Now coming onto the main question that is ‘who are youths?’

Youth is none other but US, the young, upcoming and the succeeding generation. So if to define youth I would say youth is the time of life when one is young and this often means the time between childhood and adulthood. It is also defined as the appereance, freshness, vigor, enthusiasm, spirit and other characterstics of the who is one is young and is in the age of getting known to the actual world

Youths shape themselves to shape the country but, if this shaping goes in a wrong way then youth can also be proved harmfull towards the development of the future. The shaping doesn’t only mean with the educational field or economic field it also holds a part in the society.

You might be thinking that educational and economic field are also a part of society then what do I mean with the other aspects. Let me explain, firstly what do you think society actually is? Ignoring the bookish definition I would like to present my perspective over the society.

According to me society is a Rubix cube, the more you turn and twist the more you see different colours getting together. But these colours here aren’t the colours of the surrounding but they are the colours with which society is built of and here every colour has a different meaning.

While we know that a cube is six faced and a Rubix cube has 6 colours and every face, every colour has a separate meaning. Lets consider the whole cube as our society. One side represents culture, the second one represents the mutuality, third side represents perspective of every different individual, while the fourth side represents self contribution ability and cooperation , the fifth side represents the responsibilities, understandings and expectations, last but not the least.. the sixth side represents the knowledge and economy.

Now, how are these sides related to the shaping of the society through youths?

It is so as youths are the ones holding the rubix cube of our future that is, our society thus it all depends upon the youths who shuffle the colours in what way. When these colours are shuffuled and various colours come together it then becomes the ultimatum. Such ultimatum that can also get destroyed due to the combinations or may become the purest soul of the society. And its all in the hands of the youth who will turn them accordingly, turning towards the right side might result in the making of the most beautiful habitat while a wrong move might mess up the whole thing and become destructively engaged, which cannot then be reversed! The youth should understand these aspects and take the future towards the right direction with possessing the qualities of culture, mutuality, contribution ability, cooperation, responsibilities, understanding the expections and sorting them wisely also with proper knowledge and building strong economic pillars across the nation. Moreover for applying these aspects in the society, youths themselves should be first enlightened with these traits, only then they can make up the desired and the divinely imagined future. And we won’t be able to achieve this until and unless the youths are properly acknowledged regarding the importance of bringing up a bright future.

Furthermore youths should also feel the urge of molding the future into the finest and fittest form ever seen!

Mainly…. the fire in the youths must not be ever extinguished! I repeat NEVER EVER!

THANKYOU
